This past weekend Dave and I and Kate and John had the opportunity to work with a group of wedding consultants at the Columbus Bridal Consultants. This conference included wedding consultants from surrounding states: Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Kentucky. On Saturday night they had a mock wedding reception at Bridgewater in Powell. Kate and John filmed a demo for the band, and Dave and I did a slide show as well as a display of our work. We made some connections with some great new consultants and also reconnected with ones we already love working with. It was a privilege to be invited as the only photographer at the event. A special thanks goes out to Jamie and Diana from Devoted to Details. We appreciate the invite to participate in the event.

On another note, my family is in town this weekend. The house has been very busy with kids! Yesterday we had a cookout for lunch because the weather was so nice. We then said goodbye to Dave's brother Mike who left to return to Bolivia, South America. In the evening we had some friends over and played games. That is one of my favorite things to do. I am very competitive. Today we are off and running with some shopping and lunch at The Cheesecake Factory! Got to get everything done while the family is here.
