We are finally back in town. We spent the last week in the Ozark Mountains in Branson, MO. What a great little town! It kinda jumps out of nowhere. They say it is the third most visited resort town in the United States. To me it seems like a mini Vegas, minus the casinos. Like Vegas, it has "the strip" filled with restaurants, shopping, shows, and all sorts of entertainment. You could go somewhere different every night for an entire year. This time we didn't see any shows but we did manage to eat out, go karting, go to a water park, and go out to the lake. There was so much to do and so little time. It was also great catching up with our family. Our extended family get together every two or three years. The next reunion will be in Colorado!
Below are some pictures from our little trip. The big group shot is all my extended family. The shots to the right starting at the top are (1) Brooklyn and I with my cousin Joy and her daughter Caryn. Joy and I went to college together and were born 3 weeks apart. Brooklyn and Caryn are two weeks apart in age (2) Brooklyn and Dave chillin' out outside the cabin (3) Isaac in his usual state, sleeping (4) and finally the picture below the group shot, Brooklyn and her cousin Brianna hanging out at the hotel.
Now we are back to work. This weekend we are off to shoot Michael and Achea. Looks like the weather is going to be amazing, 80 and sunny!
