January-March tends to be a little slower with weddings as always. Some of you ask "What do you do during this time of year?" I wish I could say that we do nothing and totally relax. We do some of that. This year we have a couple of trips planned.

During this season we catch up from the following year, work on advertising and marketing, update the gallery, and design new show books. This year we are working on releasing a couple of new styles of books. They are going to be awesome! We also try to attend seminars, learn new techniques, brush up on old ones and get to know all of our clients better.

I do like this time of year though because we aren't shooting every weekend and just have time to be what most people would consider to be "normal". Although most Saturdays we find ourselves trying to find things to do. We just aren't use to having weekends off. I just need to keep telling myself that it's ok not to be working like a mad woman every day. I just need to enjoy spending time with my kids, who are growing up so quickly, and my husband.
