I know this blog has been pretty slow lately. I promise to get caught up here soon!

A couple of months ago, we decided to take the plunge and buy a lens that we had wanted for a long time. We quickly found out that the lens is very hard to find and you have to be put on a waiting list to get one! Yeah, that's because the lens is amazing!!! So we got put on a waiting list for one. We waited and waited and still no lens. We had been on the waiting list for 3 months. Finally, one popped up on ebay. I couldn't believe it. The auction ended on Sunday the 14th! And if you all remember, that was the day of the terrible wind storm. Just as the auction was ready to end, our electricity went out and we missed the sale! Agh!!!!!! So it was back to the drawing board. We continued to wait and another one popped up on ebay. We weren't going to miss this one! Dave, with his amazing ebay buying skills, won the auction! And now we have this amazing tool in our hands.

So what lens is it? It is the Nikon 200mm 2.0!!!!! Wowza!!! Amazing clarity and depth of field! You just can't get any better. It weighs as much as I do but it is still so cool!
