First day of kindergarten

Brooklyn has been looking forward to this day for a really long time! She got up early, put on her watermelon outfit and Converse tennis shoes, ate a big breakfast and then walked out to the bus stop. It was a chilly morning but that didn't stop her. As soon as the bus turned the corner, the kids yelled "BUS!!!!" and she was off and running. No goodbye to mom, no kiss, no wave. She just picked up the backpack that was as big as she was and ran full speed to the bus. Guess she really was excited! She had a great day with her new teacher, Mrs. Cramer. The highlight of the day was the mystery of the gingerbread man. He disappeared and they searched the school to find him. When they returned to the class there was a gingerbread cookie waiting! How cute! I am sure there are more great days to come! We are so proud of her!
