The joys of Christmas
I just love the holiday season. I love cooking, spending time with family, giving gifts, and everything else! I love that my kids are now at an age where they get really excited about everything. I just love seeing their faces when opening gifts too! This Christmas we spent Christmas day with the Banks family. I had the wonderful opportunity to make Christmas brunch which consisted of the following: homemade cinnamon rolls (used the recipe from Pioneer Woman's blog! Yummy!!), wild rice sausage casserole (recipe in the post below), scrambled eggs, fruit and juices. Yummy!!! After brunch it was time to tear into the gifts. We had the kids open a few, play, open a few and play. This made the day so much fun!
The next morning, after a photo shoot bright and early, we headed to Indiana to spend time with my family. We started the festivities off with a 30th birthday party for my sister Sara at Bonefish Grill. On Monday we had another Christmas brunch and another gift opening time. We also had fun shopping, sledding, playing cards (and more cards! My family loves games!), and eating way too much. Pictures from my side coming soon!
Below are images from Christmas day! Can't wait until next year!
