Oh the joys of being a home owner. This past week we have had to deal with a couple of problems. Last Saturday after the wedding I walked into the office and my foot got a little wet. I looked down and the carpet was soaked. I got Dave and he started to find the source. It turns out that the air conditioner was broken and was leaking water. After a week, the problem if fixed. Once that was fixed, we started on the next problem. Yesterday I was getting ready to see clients in the gallery. All of a sudden I hear a waterfall of water and then see water start to come out from under the door of the sump pump room. I was a little freaked because our basement flooded a couple of times last year when we were out of town. The one waterfall sound turned into three. I opened the door to water spewing everywhere! A pipe had broken! There we are trying to stop the water from coming into the basement, trying to find the break, and waiting for clients to arrive. Dave worked fast and got the pipe turned off and found the problem. God was definitely watching out for us because if we hadn't been home and heard the water, our basement could have flooded again! Today the plumber comes to fix the problem. Oh the joys of being a home owner!
