Tonight we had a great time getting together with our friends for a baby shower. I had forgotten how much stuff you need for a baby especially when the baby is the opposite sex from the first one. I just want to thank our friends for all their generosity and support during this time. It was great seeing you all.

At the shower we got tons of cute outfits, bath towels, receiving blankets, toys, and lots of other great stuff. Tomorrow we will have the task of organizing and putting everything away.

The transformation is finally complete. As most of you know, 2 weeks ago Dave and I got a huge surprise. Since the 5th month of pregnancy we thought we were having a girl. 2 weeks ago at an appointment we found out that the little girl was now a boy. What a shock! The nursery was all ready for a little girl so we had to get busy to make a transformation. Lucky thing Pottery Barn Kids had a tropical boy's room just like their girl's room. We finally got everything in and now the room is complete. One thing down, two to go. Tonight our friends are throwing us a boy shower. This will definitely help with boy's clothes and accessories. We really appreciate everyone' s generosity. The final step will be to choose the name. We are down to two names but just can't decide. We will post the name and pix when the baby arrives.

Good Tuesday morning. This past weekend was a whirlwind of wedding and fun. It went something like this:

Thursday afternoon - wedding at Cheers Chalet
Friday - Kelly and John's wedding at the conservatory. It rained but we still had fun
Saturday - Kim and Tim's wedding in Newark
Sunday - church in the morning, engagement pix in the afternoon at Easton with Carrie and Gino and then Erica and Dennis

The shoot with Erica and Dennis was fun. We shot some daytime shots, then had a drink at COSI while the sun went down. We then shot some night shots at Easton. Dave and I have been wanting to do that for a long time and thought they would be the perfect couple. Check out more of their images.

And remember, all this while 9 months pregnant! Good thing Dave is not pregnant too.
