Nothing could be sweeter!

Drum roll please. . . . . . . I am finally releasing the theme and images from Brooklyn and Isaac's newly renovated restroom entitled "Nothing could be sweeter"! Yes, that's right it's a candy themed bathroom!

Here's how it all started. A few months ago I was walking through CVS when I saw a sale on movie styled candy boxes. Since I am sucker (no pun intended) for bright and fun colors, I couldn't resist making this our theme. Once I chose the theme I started to develop the main anchor piece for the room, the mirror frame. I simply took 40 candy boxes and attached them around the edge with velcro in a random pattern. Next up were the super cute towels by Libby Dodge. We shot Libby's wedding a few years ago and when I heard she was doing embroidery work, I had to enlist her help. She made me two sets of towels: the green towels ones have swirled lollipops and the orange towels have bubblegum machines. Our next addition was the wildberry gummy lifesaver wall hanging. Nothing like using some candy boxes and superglue to make a fun accent piece. And the final touches were the footlong candy sticks, the lollipop field and the tin candy boxes in the shadow box. Done!
