Leaving for the City!

Have you heard of the great, new, inexpensive airline, Skybus! Flights are cheap but don't get too excited. We have been trying to figure out how to get from Newburgh airport outside NYC to the hotel. What a headache! Might as well spend twice as much on tickets and save 10 hours of travel! Here is what we have to do:

Arrive in Newburgh at 9:20
Pickup luggage and get on a shuttle to the Beacon stop of the Metro North
Take the Metro North to Grand Central Station (104 minutes!)
From Grand Central Station take a cab to the hotel (arrive at approximately 1:00am!)

Ahhh!!! Makes those cheap tickets look not so cheap anymore. I will let you know how it goes. We will be out of the office today until Friday and returning emails and calls on Monday. If it is an emergency, please call us at 614.214.2359.

Out on the farm

Last week I left early to meet Jessica and Nate out at their house in Granville to shoot their engagement pictures. They had the idea to shoot at this old barn across from their house. They weren't sure how it was going to work out, but when I got there I was in heaven. So many photo opportunities. The sun was rising, everything was dirty and old, and I loved it! It was quite possibly one of my favorite shoots of the year. My favorite spot was the old little house with the floor boards falling out. A little dangerous, but worth it! Check out the pix!

Cute little chicks!

Ahhh, I just love Easter Sunday. I love getting the kids all dressed up, going to church, and then spending time with family. This year I was trying to teach Brooklyn what Easter was all about. I asked her, "What happened at Easter?" She said, "Jesus died on the cross." I replied, "Where is Jesus now?" Her first response, "In Bolivia!" That is where Uncle Mike is a missionary! Finally she said, "In my heart mom!" I just love that!

This Easter we spent the day with Dave's family. We ate tons of good food and finished lunch off with a yummy carrot cake that I made. Yes, I do have some cooking skills!

Now, I don't like to brag but look how cute the kids were yesterday.
