I am up early this morning getting ready to leave for a wedding in Steubenville, Ohio. A few random thoughts before we leave. First of all, Brooklyn has been having a hard time staying in bed last night and we heard from a friend that we might try an aquarium. So last night, Dave went out with Brooklyn and picked out an aquarium and some fish. It was cute! We crossed our fingers and you know what, she didn't get up last night! I can't believe it! Let's see what happens tonight.

Another totally random bit of information, the other day I was out shooting engagement pix for Jennifer and Abe. We were out at High Banks Park and there was a painting class or something out there working. This one painter was painting this beautiful lane and I thought it would be cool to shoot the couple in the lane with his painting in the foreground. Check it out!

Talk about doing what it takes to get great images, these three couples had their engagement pix in the cold these past two days. Temperatures were in the 40's, so not ideal for pix. Although it was cold, we had a great time. We shot Dee and Ocie downtown last night and then Jaime and JB along with their dogs, and Jen and Sean were this morning. I threw on the big sweatshirt and gloves and made it happen. Now if only it could be warmer for the family portraits this weekend. Pray for good weather. I don't know what to do if we have to reschedule!

I am still in recovery mode from the weekend. Three weddings is incredibly draining. I will write more about the weddings later this week.

I did want to put a plug in for a really cool and talented guy, John Wilson, We met him this Sunday at the wedding. John was a groomsmen and also the designer of the wedding. It was beautiful! The centerpieces were some of the best that I had seen. John is an interior designer and I would love for everyone to check him out.
