Today I have been running around like a mad woman trying to get everything ready for the trip. It's always all the last minute things that get me! I always work off a list so that I keep myself organized. My list is slowly dwindling down as night gets closer. Tonight we are packing the car, giving the kids baths, and making sure everything is ready for the big shoot. Tomorrow morning we are rolling out around 8:00am, at least that is the plan. We have the dual DVD players ready to go for the kids. Brooklyn will be watching Elmo and Isaac will be watching Baby Einstein. This will be a first for him. We are not mini van people but we did rent one for the trip up to Canada. Nothing else would work with 6 people and lots of stuff! This will be an interesting trip. I am going to attempt to check in while I am up there but I am not sure about internet access. Jen, the bride, told me that Ilan, the groom, has satellite access at the cottage, so we will see. If you email or call and I don't get back to you right away, don't be alarmed. I will get with you as soon as I can.

The weekend is over and I think I have fully recovered. On Saturday Dave and I shot the wedding of Kristen and Eric. It turned out to be a beautiful day. I was a little worried for awhile because of the rain. The wedding was at Brookside Country Club. Kristen and Eric had planned to see each other before the wedding so everything went very smooth and we had plenty of time to make some great images. The bridesmaids dressed were super cute. They were a latte color with a chocolate brown sash. I loved it! The flowers were orange and peach and went perfectly with everything. We will be back at Brookside again in 2 weeks for another outdoor wedding. We will start praying now for good weather.

This week we are off and running with another busy week. Today we are in the office working on books and editing photos. On Wednesday we will be preparing to leave for a wedding in Canada. The wedding is on an island in the Georgian Bay. It is going to be amazing. I am going to try to post some pix while we are there. We will be driving up to Canada and taking Dave's parents along with us. They will watch the kids while we shoot. We are then doing to extend the trip and spend some time vacationing up there. On the way home we are going to stop at Niagara Falls. I have never been there but have heard that it is amazing. Busy, busy! This is how our summer goes! And next year is looking great already!
