Christmas Brunch - Yummy yum!

I just love Christmas! Love the lights, shopping, eating, cooking, spending time with family and just relaxing. So today I am spending time getting ready for Christmas brunch! I know lots of you have been asking, so here is my recipe for Wild Rice/Sausage brunch casserole. It's a great alternative to the normal egg breakfast casserole. This recipe does make a lot so be ready to eat. This recipe was passed on to me from my great friend Jenn! Thanks Jenn!!!

Wild Rice/Sausage Brunch Casserole

2 packages Uncle Ben's wild rice original (cooked as directed)
3 cans cream soup - mushroom, chicken, or your choice
1 lb mild sausage cooked and drained
1 lb hot sausage cooked and drained
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce

Mix all these ingredients and set aside

2 whole chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
4 cups sharp cheddar cheese
Water chestnuts if desired

In 9x13 greased casserole layer half of rice sausage mixture. Place chicken and water chestnuts on top. Next add the rest of the rice sausage mixture. Top with cheese.

Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly!

Can be made ahead and frozen. Simply thaw and follow baking directions.

Enjoy!
