I have been talking with Carmela from Girls in White Dresses about doing a book for her boutique. I am now on a search for brides who wore or are wearing a dress from her shop. Please let me know if you are, were, or know a bride that we shot or are shooting that qualifies. Thanks for your help!

I know I am partial but I just think my kids are the cutest. Here are some pix from the past week. Let me explain them.

Last weekend my sister and I had a garage sale. It was time to part with all Brooklyn's clothes. One picture above is Brooklyn at the garage sale climbing the ladder trying to make sales. She is starting early.

This past weekend my grandparent's were in town from Oregon. It was so great to see them again. Brooklyn and Isaac had a fun time with them too. Above is a photo with GG (great grandma and grandpa)

We also had a cookout and Brooklyn enjoyed the corn on the cob.

And finally, the kids just hanging out on the floor. Just had to share.

Let me get caught up from the past couple of days. On Saturday Dave and I shot Angie and Tom's reception up near The Lakes country club. The reception was held at Angie's parent's house. What a beautiful home! Angie and Tom got married in Grand Cayman a couple of weeks ago and then had a reception here in Columbus. Angie's dress was amazing! A lot of guests wore beach clothes, like they wore for the wedding! All the blues looked awesome. We started with a photo shoot in uptown Westerville and then moved to the house for family photos. Thanks for such a great time!

On Sunday we were back at it again with Mareth and Vern. Vern is the general manager at Brio, Easton. It was a bit of last minute planning but it went off without a hitch. Mareth looked amazing and also had an amazing dress from Girls in White Dresses. I am really jealous because next week Vern and Mareth are off to Italy for their honeymoon. We tried to convince them to take us along but that didn't work. Bummer! I am so ready to shoot in Italy!

Then on Monday it was my birthday. My family was in town to help celebrate. My grandparent's came all the way from Oregon. It is great having them here because we don't get to see them very much. Brooklyn and Isaac got to meet their GG's for the first time. Brooklyn has been playing with them non stop. Last night all the family came over for a cookout and Dairy Queen cake. I just love that cake!

Finally, it's Tuesday. This morning we were up bright and early to freeze corn! Freeze corn? Yes. It is so good. I grew up on frozen corn. At 8:00am we went out to the local farmer and got 25 DOZEN ears of corn. Call us crazy. We shucked corn, cut corn, cooked corn and bagged corn all day. 50 quarts later, we are all done. Now all we do is sit back and enjoy! My freezer is full. My mom and grandma are the expert freezers. I could not have done it without them. My gift to them, frozen corn!

Tomorrow's plans, back in the office designing, sorting, and getting all caught up!
