Our most recent trip was to Nashville, TN. We stayed at the beautiful Opryland Hotel. Dave's family had planned this trip this past summer in order to secure the rooms at the hotel. The place books up so fast that you have to book months in advance to get a room. We were thinking about booking the presidential suite that runs $3500 a night (ha!). The hotel is really amazing. The decorations for Christmas are over the top. They have so many lights that the electric bill goes up $600,000 per month over the holiday season. Here is the view from our room during the day and at night.
The kids loved all the lights and the boat ride on the river in the Delta garden. The trip was relaxing until Brooklyn got the flu and then Isaac and now David!!!!! It is not fun having sick kids on vacation. Here is Isaac before the flu and then after the flu!
We had to wash car seats in the bath tub, scrub clothes, and everything else. It was good to be gone but really good to be home! Here are some pictures from the trip.

Long time no post. Sorry it has been so long. We have been out of town, shooting in town and then back out of town again. Once we get through this week things should be back to somewhat of a normal routine. Pray that we get through this weekend!

Let me tell you what has been happening recently and then I will work backwards to our Jamaica trip.

Last night my sister, Sara, and I hosted our Third Annual Christmas Cookie exchange.
It was another super sweet one. We had 15 girls and everyone did an awesome job this year. Not that others years weren't good, but this year was exceptionally good. This year's winner was our assistant Jennie. She won the "Most likely to appear on the Rachel Ray show" award. Check out her picture with her cookie. We also gave prizes out for the most creative, most time, and most likely to open their sack of goodies on the way home!
