Brings back memories

Ahhhh. . . the memories of New Buffalo Beach, Michigan. I remember getting up at 5am, driving to the studio and getting in the truck to head out to shoot senior pictures on beach day. The shoots started at 6:30am! And that's where it all began for me at Harrington Photography in Three Oaks, Michigan just a mere 15 minutes from the beach. At that point, I was the assistant: holding the reflector, carrying the gear, and fixing the hair. That's where everyone should start, learning from the best! (Thanks Kevin and Cathy for getting me started! I owe it all to you!) And here I am now do my own photo shoot back at that same beach. It was awesome!

When I first scheduled the session, I hated to even speak the time time to Trish and John. I knew that the words 6:30am might scare them away. And when I said 6:30 I didn't even think that they were coming from Chicago which is one hour earlier!!! Yikes! But they did it! And it was amazing! Here are some shots from the shoot.

The falls love the rain!

Well, at least the falls love all the rain! The past couple of weeks have been killing me, trying to reschedule all the shoots that have been rained out. So in between the showers I have been trying to sneak a shoot in. A couple of weeks ago I shot two super fun couples down at the falls. One good thing about the rain, the falls were definitely roaring. Both of these couples were up for a great hike and getting fun shots. Here is a sneak peak from their shoots!
