What to do without electricity?

So what do you do without electricity? We just got power back after it being out for 23 hours! Yes, that is right, 23 hours. We were sitting watching football on Sunday afternoon when it went out. We then spent time outside watching the wind just destroy things around the house. Our neighbors had lots of damage to their houses but luckily we did not. We then had a great to idea to order pizza. Do you think we could find anyone open? Nope! So we headed out to find food. We found pizza! I was so surprised to see all the damage from the wind! Wow!

After arriving home, we got out the candles and read Brooklyn and Isaac stories around the candle. They thought that was fun. What they didn't think was fun was sleeping in their dark rooms. We were up half the night with them crying. Ahhh!!!!

This morning we woke up to no electricity still. We started emptying the freezer and moving everything over to Dave's parent's house. Once that project was finished, we tried to find a bank that was open to pay our taxes. Figures, today is tax day!

Now, 23 hours later, our electricity has been restored. It's back to work!
