Tonight Dave and I had some friends (Craig and Jessica, and Jeff and Carla) over for dinner. We have been wanting to get together with Craig and Jessica for a long time but everyone's schedules are always crazy. We met Craig and Jess at church a couple of years ago and became great friends right away. Since then they have gotten married (we shot their wedding!), we have both had kids, and both moved into new houses. Doesn't life change so fast? Although life does get busy, we always need to remember to spend time with our friends and family. Nothing is better! Thanks for a great evening everyone.

It's Wednesday morning and we were up early because today is our day in the office. After dropping off the kids, I was off to shoot little Issy! She is so cute. Of course the attention span of a six month is about 10 minutes. We got the best shots in those ten minutes. A lot of people ask if we shoot baby photos, and yes, we do! We do a lot of candid photography, nothing in a studio. I just love the natural look of kids at play. Here are a couple of shots from Issy's shoot.


After that shoot I went to check out a location for our family portrait shoot. It looks like we will be using Jacquemin Farms for our sessions on the 28th. The farm has a great barn from the 1800's, a treed row that leads out to a 13 acre pumpkin patch, and lots of other great areas to shoot. It is about 5 minutes from the intersection of 33/161 and 270. More details to come!

Our family portrait special has been a huge success! We booked all the available times within 3 days of announcing them. We then opened up 20 more spots and booked all of those. Since we are out of times again, we have now opened up November 11th in the afternoon and are considering another date.
