Wet but Dry

As many of you know, three years we experienced some flooding in our basement. Our first flooding happened while we were on vacation in Bolivia. Thanks to some wonderful friends our basement was cleaned and dried while we were gone. It then flooded again for a second time three days later, and once again our friends came to the rescue. This process continued for the next few months with four floods total! We then had a water specialist to come out to assess the problem and ever since, we are dry! Every time the rain comes, we glance down at the basement to make sure all is well. And all is well today! The yard is a total mess but we are dry, dry, dry. Remember that our business is run out of our basement. Please keep us in your prayers.

NYC here we come

Next week we are headed off to New York City for a little fun and of course some shooting. We are shooting engagement pictures and some senior pictures all over the city. Anyone else want to join us? We will be shooting next Wednesday and Thursday. Shoot us an email if you are interested!

Mother's Day shoot

This past year our family portrait days were very successful. In four days we shot over 80 families! Thanks again to all the families that participated. Because of the huge success last year, we are once again gearing up for our family special this year. We have decided to open up more days to allow for more families to participate. On our family days, we offer our portrait packages for around half price. And instead of starting in October with the specials, we will be offering one in May, July, Aug, September, October and December.

The reason that I am writing about it now is that this week we will be opening our first family portrait day of 2008. Our sessions book in about 2 days so make sure you stayed tuned to the blog for the announcement. Our spring session will be May 10th from 9:00-5:00. Yes, this is the day before Mother's Day so it is a perfect opportunity to get the whole family together. Start checking your schedules and get ready to book you session this week!
